Ray sitting like Zeus in a grand chair once used by the Mayor of London, during the press launch of RAY HARRYHAUSEN - MYTHS AND LEGENDS exhibition, at the London Film Museum on Saturday 24th April. Tony introduced Ray to a packed house and is pointing to the models of Calibos from Clash of the Titans, one of the seven skeletons from Jason and the Argonauts and the ornithomimus featured in The Valley of Gwangi. All of these models and many more, will be exhibited at the exhibition which begins on the 29th June. Standing on Ray's left is Jonathan Sands, the Chief Executive of the museum.

Thursday 11th February 2010
Thursday 11th February 2010 saw the launch of two exciting fabrics based on Ray's designs by the internationally renowned Liberty Department Store. Ray and Tony attended the store, which is just off Regent Street in London, to promote the fabrics and to sign books.

Ray is asked to sign a piece of fabric bought by two fans at Liberty. This piece was going to be framed.

Ray and Tony each wearing shirts made of the two designs, are accompanied by one of the seven skeletons featured in Jason and the Argonauts.

An exhibition of a selection of Ray's artwork and models was held between the 27th October 2009 to the 15th January 2010 at the Luis Seone Foundation in La Coruna, Spain.

Ray and Tony at a book signing event held at the Collectormania Fair at Olympia, London on the 28th November 2009. Ray was one of the most popular figures at the event and even before Ray sat down, there were several hundred people waiting to meet him.

Ray and Tony signing books at the London Megastore Forbidden Planet, in London, on Saturday 24th October 2009. The event was extremely successful, which was made all the more special by film director, John Landis, joining them and buying 10 copies of the paperback of An Animated Life. Ray and Tony with students at the NFTS
Following an Illustrated Masterclass at The National Film & Television School (NFTS) in Beaconsfield, West London on Monday 12th October 2009 Ray and Tony signed books and met some of the animation students. The event was exceptionally well attended and Ray was interviewed by Tony Dalton for almost ninety minutes. Photographed by Vicky Mather.
